Available Shift:

1st shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Full-Time Fall 2026 Co-Op

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated per hourly range for this position is $22 - 30 per hour based on experience.

Competitive Weekly Pay Period

This engineering co-op position focuses on supporting Engineering and Design Software used at S&C.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Working with business clients, peers, and software suppliers to satisfy business requirements and support design, engineering, and document control applications managed by the Engineering Systems team.

- Develop and deliver documentation and training to users.

- Providing end-user support services that include troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving model, software, and system usage problems.

- Participate in testing functional and technical system upgrades.

- Follow established standard work practices and procedures; defining new standard work as appropriate.

To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:

- In-progress degree program from an accredited university/college program with a concentration in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or other related technical field and returning to school full-time after the work session.

- Basic knowledge of design, engineering, and manufacturing concepts and methods

- Ability to prioritize workload to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Good analytical skills and the initiative to remain current with S&C’s core engineering and manufacturing systems

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to grasp how technical issues impact business decisions

- Energetic and positive attitude

- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:   Computer Programming & Use of Solid Edge or similar CAD software for parametric modeling.

MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Standing: Occasional standing on shop floor.

- Lifting: Occasional lifting of production parts and tooling less than 50 pounds.

- Walking: Frequent walking throughout the facility both indoors and outdoors.

- Carrying: Occasional carrying of light objects.

- Pushing: Infrequent pushing of objects.

- Pulling: Infrequent pulling of objects.

- Bending: Occasional bending.

- Reaching: Infrequent reaching.

- Handling: Occasional handling of parts or tools.

- Other: Frequent use of personal computer, keyboard, monitor.
