Building Maintenance Technician
We’re looking for a hands-on Building Maintenance Associate to help keep our logistics facility, equipment, and infrastructure operating safely and reliably.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, and performing a variety of maintenance tasks in a warehouse environment. The position supports preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, building improvements, and day-to-day facility needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility and warehouse equipment to help extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Complete general building maintenance, minor repairs, and facility improvements.
- Support maintenance needs involving equipment such as forklifts, dock doors, balers, and warehouse racking.
- Inspect warehouse racking and uprights for damage and help maintain a safe working environment.
- Read and use technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints when troubleshooting equipment.
- Help coordinate with outside vendors when specialized repairs or services are needed.
- Support warehouse automation and other facility equipment as needed.
- Experience with building, facility, industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritize maintenance needs and work independently.
- Comfortable using computers and maintenance-related systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or blueprints.
- Willing and able to perform hands-on work in a warehouse environment, including working at heights or in tight spaces when required.
- Experience with PLCs, warehouse automation, forklifts, or scissor lifts is a plus.
