Technical Program Manager, Physical and Electronic Security Systems, Global Building Infrastructure and Protection Services

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be tasked with protecting Google's future through thoughtful and intentional security design implementations. Provide beneficial outcomes to Googlers so that they will gain a heighten sense of situational awareness. Secure perimeter to allow a more open circulation within and to maintain Google's open culture. Limit access to sensitive information, intellectual property and large groups of data users. Capture critical data to enhance real-time incident response and investigations. To easily detect bad actors, to delay them and allow security adequate time to respond.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $136000 - $196000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 5 years of experience with security systems, infrastructure projects, deployment management, program management.

- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

- Security systems or related certifications (access control, cctv, networking, CPTED).

- Program Management certification or experience in Program Management with a technology company.

- Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.

- Ability to grow in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment while working both independently and as a team on multiple initiatives and stand-alone projects with limited direction from upper management.

- Strong people management and communication skills, and a data driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges.

- Lead and direct a global team of agreement security systems consultants, project managers, and security installation specialists.

- Oversee end-to-end program management, driving process improvements across the broader organization and navigating ambiguity with full ownership to resolve complex challenges.

- Serve as a cross-functional leader, establishing a clear strategic goal to advance long-term organizational goals.

- Deploy various security technologies using established risk frameworks, industry standards, and Google security best practices.

- Direct financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoice approvals.
