CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Asst. VP, Enrollment Management Systems directs the University's enrollment management technology strategy and serves on the division's senior leadership team to identify automation opportunities that advance recruitment, enrollment, and student success goals. The incumbent consults with executive leadership to align enterprise systems with strategic priorities while leading business application delivery, operational improvements, and continuous system maintenance. This position oversees core technological infrastructure supporting undergraduate and graduate admissions, recruitment, registrar functions, degree audit processes, financial aid administration, and student employment operations. The role ensures reliable system availability to drive advanced data analytics, institutional reporting, and targeted marketing or communications outreach.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates, recommends, configures, and implements enterprise software solutions to support all divisional functions and student enrollment operations.
2. Develops long-term enrollment systems strategies for Enrollment Management, DCIE, and individual schools or colleges across undergraduate and graduate levels.
3. Serves as the primary business owner for Slate CRM, ensuring optimal configuration, scalability, and consistent adoption across undergraduate and graduate instances.
4. Serves as the chief liaison between Enrollment Management and University IT, formulating application architecture plans, estimating costs, and aligning projects with institutional security standards.
5. Leads technology implementations, including Highpoint software integration, to support admissions, registration, degree planning, credit evaluation, financial aid, and student success initiatives.
6. Analyzes and governs the strategic application of artificial intelligence and emerging software tools within admissions, enrollment workflows, and student services.
7. Establishes operational policies, data governance frameworks, and system procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
8. Develops analytics dashboards, predictive modeling strategies, and reporting tools to support coordinated enrollment planning across all academic units.
9. Supervises, mentors, and develops a team of functional, technical, and programming staff, establishing succession planning and talent development strategies.
10. Provides ongoing Slate CRM and application support, training, and troubleshooting to staff across admissions, registrar, financial assistance, advising, and marketing departments.
11. Manages resource planning, project prioritization, and technical trade-off decisions in direct consultation with departmental directors and leadership.
12. Drives stakeholder satisfaction through structured change management, regular status reporting, and controlled application delivery processes.
13. Enforces technical standards and quality assurance by reviewing project specifications, functional workflows, and application code.
14. Collaborates on cross-divisional technology committees and cross-campus engagement efforts to streamline enrollment processes and enhance the overall student experience.
15. Ensures internal control oversight and compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding of assets, compliance with University policies and procedures, reliability of internal and external reporting, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Creates an effective control environment, conducts risk assessment, implements and monitors controls.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required
