Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in or around Tallahassee, FL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install wood blocking and support systems
- Measure, lay out, and cut materials to specification
- Install and secure insulated roof panels
- Perform accurate angle cuts and material fitting
- Utilize saws and other carpentry tools to complete installations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry experience
- Must be proficient with layout work and angle cutting
- Experience installing roof panels or similar construction materials preferred
- Ability to safely use saws and standard carpentry tools
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
