Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – School-Based

Position Overview

Liberty Education Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students in school-based settings with the Liberty Education Solutions .

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive difference in a student's educational experience. The PCA will provide individualized support to help students remain safe, engaged, and successful throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one support to assigned students throughout the school day.

- Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, and personal needs as appropriate.

- Help students safely participate in classroom activities and daily routines.

- Follow individualized student plans and directions provided by teachers and related-service professionals.

- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff.

- Encourage positive behavior, independence, and student engagement.

- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

- Communicate professionally with school staff and parents/guardians when appropriate.

- Follow all school, MCIU, and Liberty Education Solutions policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous experience working with children is preferred.

- Experience in a school, childcare, special education, behavioral health, or caregiving environment is a plus.

- Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to follow student support plans and staff instructions.

- Flexible and able to adapt to individual student needs.

- Must meet applicable school health, background clearance, and employment requirements.
