ABOUT THE ROLE
The Ready Mix Logistics Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for customers, drivers, plant teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery coordination of concrete products, exceptional customer service, and accurate order and billing administration. This role combines order dispatching, concrete mixer truck scheduling, account support, and operational logistics coordination to maintain high service levels, optimize delivery efficiency, and foster strong customer relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

- Dispatch mixer trucks safely and on schedule according to customer specifications and plant network load capacities, ensuring efficient utilization of plant load points.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, truck locations, ETAs, product availability, additional products/sundries, quotes, and special project requests.

- Proactively notify customers in advance whenever delivery schedules or orders are disrupted or altered, maintaining open and clear communication.

- Provide continuous operational support, site information, directions, project details, and guidance to drivers via radio, GPS, and telephone.

- Coordinate effectively with Logistics Manager, Operations, Quality Control (QA/QC), and Sales teams to resolve order or delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Review orders and delivery tickets for accuracy, log special conditions/sundries, manage discrepancy investigations, and assist billing coordinators with ticket sorting, credits, and rebills.

- Maintain accurate customer records, document order issues, and ensure proper retention of invoices, Proofs of Delivery (POD), and quotations in company systems.

- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma
Additional Education Preferred: College Diploma/University Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Required Work Experience: 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, order dispatching, or customer service within concrete, aggregates, or the construction industry
Required Technical Skills: MS Office, Command Concrete (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

- Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, radio/phone communications, and data entry/office applications.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong customer service orientation

- Good problem-solving abilities

- Willing to work evenings and weekends on a rotating basis

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
