Job Summary

The enterprise branch is changing fast. Applications are moving to the cloud, users are distributed, networks are more dynamic, and IT teams are being asked to manage more complexity with less operational overhead.

Our Product Management team is building the networking platform that connects and secures those environments at scale. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who can help define what the modern branch should look like — from routing and path selection to switching, Wi-Fi, automation, APIs, and AI-assisted operations.

Your Career

In this role, you will own critical capabilities across our SD-WAN and SASE branch platform, shaping how enterprise customers deploy, operate, and troubleshoot branch networks globally.

You will work at the intersection of deep networking technology and product experience: translating complex capabilities such as BGP, OSPF, traffic steering, switching, and Wi-Fi into products that are easier to configure, automate, visualize, and operate.

This is an opportunity to influence both the underlying networking architecture and the experience customers have managing it — partnering closely with Engineering, UX, field teams, and enterprise customers to define the next generation of branch networking.

Your Impact

- Shape the future of the enterprise branch — Define and execute the roadmap for core SD-WAN and branch networking capabilities, including BGP, OSPF, path monitoring, dynamic traffic steering, switching, Wi-Fi, and related branch infrastructure.
- Make complex networking easier to operate — Design end-to-end workflows that help network and IT teams deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot branch environments at scale.
- Advance API-first networking — Partner with Engineering to deliver robust RESTful APIs, automation capabilities, and developer-ready interfaces for routing, SD-WAN, and branch configuration.
- Reimagine the network management experience — Collaborate with UX/UI teams to transform complex routing tables, topology views, configuration workflows, and network health data into clear, actionable experiences.
- Bring AI into network operations — Identify practical opportunities to use AI and machine learning for root-cause analysis, anomaly detection, alert reduction, guided troubleshooting, and operational automation.
- Drive cross-functional product execution — Partner across Product, Engineering, UX, Support, and platform teams to ensure branch capabilities align with the broader SASE architecture.
- Represent the voice of the customer — Engage directly with enterprise customers and field teams to understand deployment challenges, operational requirements, and emerging networking use cases.
- Lead strategic customer engagements — Serve as a product expert for key deployments, executive briefings, field enablement, and complex technical discussions.
- Build for operational readiness from day one — Incorporate supportability, observability, telemetry, and troubleshooting into product design and launch readiness.

Qualifications

Your Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, technical product leadership, or highly relevant customer-facing/support roles involving enterprise networking products.
- Deep technical knowledge of SD-WAN and enterprise networking, including routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, path selection, traffic steering, and routing policy.
- Experience with Branch LAN technologies, including switching, Wi-Fi, and local network or security policy.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, branch-to-cloud connectivity, and network operations.
- Experience partnering with UX/UI teams to simplify sophisticated technical workflows, configuration experiences, dashboards, and operational interfaces.
- Experience defining or working with REST APIs, automation frameworks, or programmatic network configuration.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, UX, Support, Sales Engineering, and other customer-facing organizations.
- Experience incorporating operational readiness, observability, telemetry, supportability, or troubleshooting requirements into product development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret product telemetry, customer feedback, support trends, and operational data to inform product decisions.
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between deeply technical concepts, customer needs, and business priorities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, or equivalent military experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Product management experience with enterprise SD-WAN, SASE, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, network management, or networking infrastructure platforms.
- Experience building products for network administrators, network engineers, or enterprise IT organizations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in networking, network operations, observability, or automated troubleshooting.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities and cross-functional dependencies.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here .
