Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Projects, the Project Manager is a fully qualified, journey level professional responsible for managing utility-scale solar projects from purchase order execution through commissioning. The role independently leads multiple complex projects, exercises sound judgment to resolve project challenges, partners cross functionally with engineering, supply chain, logistics, field operations and customers, and delivers exceptional customer outcomes while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects from purchase order through commissioning, taking ownership of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Independently evaluate complex project issues, identify root causes, and develop creative, practical solutions using sound professional judgment.
• Manage project P&L, including forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Field Services, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and product expertise to customers while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate product delivery, field support, installation readiness, quality resolution, and commissioning activities.
• Lead resolution of quality issues through NCR and Construction Deviation processes.
• Establish, monitor, and report key project performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
• Influence cross functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
• Support product development, sales, and continuous improvement initiatives by providing customer and field feedback.
• Champion safety and ensure compliance with company policies and site safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 to 6 years with a Master's degree; or 0 to 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex construction, renewable energy, EPC, mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate diverse issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Experience managing project financials, procurement, logistics, scheduling, and customer communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Knowledge of utility-scale solar, PV tracking systems, or renewable energy is preferred.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related considerations. The annual target total cash compensation for this position is $100,000–$115,000, which includes base salary and target commission. Actual compensation may vary based on sales target achievements. This role is also eligible for equity as part of the total compensation package. (Applicable to California)
