TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Job Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator supports material control operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, secure storage, material distribution, equipment tracking, and warehouse administration. This position coordinates warehouse activities to ensure materials, parts, supplies, and equipment are available to support operational and project requirements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
- Support field operations by ensuring technicians are provided with required equipment, materials, and supplies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities, including carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, and delivery support.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Receive, inspect, store, issue, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock levels fall below established minimums.
- Assist in identifying inventory shortages and recommending replenishment solutions.
- Complete receiving activities for purchased materials in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and security.
- Support compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
- Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience.
- Experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, logistics coordination, or related activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and material control practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a driving record that meets TransCore's driving requirements.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with technicians, management, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and inventory documentation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and support operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.
