## Job Summary




We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Automation Technician to support and maintain advanced warehouse automation systems, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) . This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated material handling equipment and associated control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with PLC-controlled equipment, and a passion for supporting highly automated manufacturing or distribution environments.

Shift Schedule: 630am-630pm Rotating shift

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on: Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)
- Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
- Conveyors, lifts, and material handling equipment
- Barcode scanners, sensors, safety devices, and charging systems

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and communication-related equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with identifying control system faults.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Respond to equipment downtime events and safely recover automated systems to operational status.
- Monitor automation system performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, root cause findings, and corrective actions within the maintenance management system.

- The technician will respond to downtime, help operators safely recover and restart equipment, and document the resolution and handoff.
- The role will also include diagnosing HMI alarms and basic equipment connectivity issues, then working with IT, Engineering, or the supplier when an issue requires their support.

- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime, productivity, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial automation or automated material handling equipment,” with ASRS and AMR experience preferred.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) or similar robotic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking, sensors, HMIs, drives, and safety circuits.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with automated warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution center operations.
- Knowledge of PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems.
- Experience with robotics, machine vision systems, industrial communication networks, and automated material handling equipment.
- Certification or training in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or industrial maintenance.

The base pay range for this position is provided below. The final base rate offered will be determined using job-related, non-discriminatory criteria, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.
