Why is COPC different?
Central Ohio Primary Care was founded in 1996 when a group of 33 physicians came together to focus more on patient care than the administrative duties that were weighing them down. From the onset, COPC physicians have been dedicated to finding new ways to offer the best patient care. Today, we have over seventy-five practices, a team of hospitalists, Same Day centers, and ancillary services.
Our goal is to provide high-quality preventative and chronic care and education to keep patients out of the hospital whenever possible. We collaborate with local health systems while staying uniquely independent. We refer our patients to the best specialists regardless of affiliation. Our model proves that people come first, and the best care and competitive pricing arent mutually exclusive. This method of care delivery offers higher quality patient care with greater efficiency and fewer unnecessary costs.
COPC is rooted in a long history of clinical excellence and commitment to the highest ethical standards. COPC is building a model for primary care that creates a more holistic view of patient care and gives physicians more time to focus on building relationships with patients and each other. We constantly strive to be the best for our patients, the best for our employees, and the BEST FOR PRIMARY CARE.
