Main responsibilities:

·       Evaluate, develop, and qualify new suppliers for components and assemblies.

·       Conduct supplier audits and assessments based on quality management system requirements.

·        Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM, on-time delivery, and corrective action closure.

·        Drive supplier quality improvement programs to achieve quality and cost targets.

·       Review supplier PPAP,  Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and quality documentation.

·       Lead investigations for supplier-related quality issues.

·       Validate manufacturing processes and process quality at supplier locations.

·       Ensure adherence to the quality system requirements, RoHS, REACH, 3TG, EMRT

Authorities:   Accept the supplier part/product/process based on positive result of inspection/ audit.

Generate nonconformance report when deviation is identified in Part/Product/Process during inspection/ audit. Disposition of nonconforming part. Approve and disapprove the supplier.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering field

Work experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience for B.E and 5 years of experience for Diploma preferably in QA.

Other skills, experiences or highly desirable qualifications

- Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, forging, sheet metal, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measurement techniques
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of UL insulation systems, ATEX and CSA are desirable.
- Six sigma Green Belt is an added advantage.
- The incumbent must be a proficient user of various statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages
- Adaptability; building strategic working relationships across functions; decision making; initiating action and aligning team performance for the success.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
