The Opportunity:

Join a mission‑focused team supporting DevOps and full‑stack engineering activities for the Zero Trust Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ZT ICAM) program serving Department of Defense customers. In this role, you’ll help build, test, deploy, and continuously improve an integrated enterprise solution across diverse environments. You will work alongside senior engineers, expand your expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps automation, and contribute directly to a modern Zero Trust architecture.

Responsibilities:

- Support automated build, test, packaging, deployment, monitoring, and release processes across Linux and containerized environments.
- Maintain reliable, repeatable deployment configurations and clear technical documentation.
- Develop and enhance front‑end and back‑end features within a web‑based architecture, including cloud‑supported components when required.
- Design and implement new interfaces, features, and code based on user and customer requirements.
- Provide integration support, testing, and troubleshooting for ICAM products and customer environments.
- Update and extend repository schemas to support new configurable data items.
- Assist in integrating Java‑based ICAM components using Bash‑based installation scripts and respond to customer integration inquiries.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience (or 16+ years without a degree).
- 5+ years of experience within SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.
- Foundational DevOps knowledge and practical experience with Kubernetes.

Desired:

- Strong proficiency in Java development.
- Experience designing REST services and developing UI components in ReactJS.
- Background in user interface and user experience design, including Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Hands‑on experience building, testing, integrating, and deploying Spring Boot applications running in Docker containers.
- Skilled with Git, Maven, JSON, XML, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes operations and AWS services (S3, EC2, ECR, etc.).
- Experience working with Oauth2/OpenID Connect standards.
- Ability to write unit tests using Junit or Mock frameworks.
- Knowledge of PKI encryption and authentication.
- Proficiency with Bash scripting and Linux environments.
- Professional cloud certifications (AWS Professional/Specialty or Microsoft Azure) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain architectural and design concepts clearly.
- Ability to produce technical documentation such as wiki content, blogs, and XML/HTML artifacts.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$131,800 - $290,000
