Role Overview

Spectra Logic is seeking a high-performing Enterprise Sales Representative / Enterprise Account Executive with a proven record of selling enterprise technology solutions within Media & Entertainment.

This field-based position covers New York City, Secaucus NJ, Long Island, and portions of southern Connecticut. The successful candidate will grow existing accounts, develop net-new enterprise customers, and build a sustainable pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets.

Success requires urgency, accountability, disciplined execution, and strong face-to-face customer and partner engagement.

Field Presence & Travel Expectations

This is a  field-oriented sales role . The representative is expected to spend  approximately 50% of their working time in the field , traveling locally and meeting face-to-face with customers, prospects, VARs, and alliance partners.

Additional travel may be required for company meetings, customer engagements, conferences, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and close net-new enterprise opportunities.
- Grow and expand existing customer relationships.
- Build and execute strategic territory and account plans.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of in-person customer, prospect, and partner meetings.
- Build sufficient pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM information and reliable forecasts.
- Build productive relationships with VARs, systems integrators, OEMs, and alliance partners.
- Coordinate effectively with Spectra Logic technical, channel, marketing, service, and leadership teams.
- Own opportunities from initial prospecting through close and implementation handoff.

Experience & Qualifications

- 5–10+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience, preferably within Media & Entertainment.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and developing net-new accounts.
- Enterprise storage, software, backup, archive, data protection, or data-management experience preferred.
- Understanding of Media & Entertainment workflows and technology requirements.
- Established relationships within the New York Media & Entertainment ecosystem preferred.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and partner-led opportunities.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate business value to technical and C-level stakeholders.

- Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Consistent creation of qualified pipeline and new-logo opportunities.
- Growth within existing strategic accounts.
- Approximately 50% field presence with meaningful face-to-face customer and partner engagement.
- Accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM management.
- Strong ownership and accountability for territory results.

Compensation: Base  - $120-145K/ year. Commission - 120-145K/ year.  While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
