TELECOMMUNICATIONS ANALYST PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Telecommunications Analyst Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Department of Defense customer. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and sustaining the audiovisual and video teleconference (VTC) systems that leaders and staff rely on to collaborate, make decisions, and communicate securely across sites.
● Lead the design and engineering of AV/VTC solutions, from office collaboration spaces to fully integrated conference rooms, making sure every space meets enterprise standards and mission requirements
● Collaborate with VTC engineers, network and voice teams, facilities personnel, and site leads to plan room buildouts, coordinate installations, and integrate endpoints with enterprise call control and conferencing infrastructure
● Drive reliable, repeatable room builds by developing technical requirements, equipment listings, and build designs, while troubleshooting complex system issues and recommending improvements that keep meeting spaces mission-ready
● Utilize Cisco collaboration endpoints, Crestron control systems, digital signal processors, and design tools to produce drawings, signal flow diagrams, and as-built documentation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your audiovisual engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Telecommunications Analyst Principal must have:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Design, installation, and troubleshooting of AV/VTC systems; Cisco collaboration endpoints (Room Kit, Room Bar, Board series) and codec registration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM); Crestron or Extron control system configuration and programming; DSP configuration (Biamp, QSC, or Shure); AV-over-IP and networked audio (Dante); signal flow diagrams and drawings in Visio or AutoCAD; AVIXA CTS/CTS-D and Crestron certifications preferred
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Onsite support at customer facilities; occasional travel between sites; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in ceilings, equipment racks, and confined spaces; occasional after-hours support for installations and critical events

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $106,250.00 - $143,750.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
