Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Senior Systems Programmer Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to design, develop, support, maintain, and implement backend processing compliance systems, frontend FIRCOSOFT systems (real-time and batch), and sanctions applications. Design high performance, robust, and scalable systems and implement applications utilizing Java/J2EE technologies and JPA/Hibernate. Promote backend processing architecture and business object model standard among systems. Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Perform data analysis and provide hands-on support with SQL development of more complex deliverables. Ensure integrity and quality of data and information stored and flowing between business applications, data marts, and business intelligence applications. Translate business requirement into data and information requirement for custom development tasks. Ensure persistence layer interface and data provided in applications, reports, dashboards, and other interfaces are used appropriately and governance rules are adhered. Document technical specifications, architecture, functional flows, data modeling, and data workflows. Identify risks/opportunities, define technology roadmaps, and ensure project methodology is followed in accordance with company standards and guidelines. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related computer field, plus 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires 5 years of experience in: FIRCOSOFT (Trust, Screen and Keep, Filter, and Reports); Compliance, Sanctions, and Know Your Client (KYC); IBM WebSphere; IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW); Tomcat; Java; JEE; Spring and Spring Boot; JMS; RESTful Webservices; Hibernate; EJB; Oracle; SQL; Autosys; Eclipse; Intellij; Apache Maven; Rational Team Concert; Jenkins; Sonar; Git; Bitbucket; Fisheye; Crucible; JIRA; and Confluence. BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated salary range for this role is $133,806 - $186,000, which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
