At Deaconess, our LPN RN Bridge role allows nursing students who already hold their LPN license to work in a PRN LPN position while completing RN school . As an LPN RN, youll play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview
As an LPN, you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. Responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring and documenting patients health
- Administering medications
- Assisting with personal care needs
- Performing routine medical procedures
- Collaborating with nurses, providers, and the broader healthcare team
- Providing compassionate, patient-centered care
What Youll Need
- Completion of an accredited LPN program and current state LPN licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergency situations
- Basic knowledge of medical procedures, pharmacology, and patient care techniques
- At least 1 year of previous clinical unit experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
- Physical stamina and emotional stability
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $23.00-$34.50
Eligible employees may also receive evening/night and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
