The Finance Manager supports dealership profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance by overseeing financing, lender coordination, and vehicle transaction processes in a professional, compliant, and customer-focused manner. This role is responsible for securing vehicle sales, protecting dealership profitability, maintaining lender relationships, and guiding customers through financing and protection product options while promoting a transparent and hospitality-driven customer experience.

Job Description:

Finance & Vehicle Transaction Management

- Coordinate and process vehicle finance and lease transactions accurately, timely, and in accordance with dealership procedures and lender requirements.

- Structure financing arrangements that support dealership profitability while meeting customer needs and lender guidelines.

- Process finance and lease deals through financial institutions to obtain approvals and funding.

- Maintain control and accuracy of deal documentation throughout the sales and funding process.

- Review transaction paperwork for completeness and accuracy, including title information, lien information, taxes, insurance documentation, and customer signatures prior to submission to accounting.

- Obtain payoff information, insurance information, credit applications, and supporting transaction documentation as required.

Product Presentation & Revenue Generation

- Present financing options, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and related protection products professionally and ethically.

- Generate additional revenue opportunities through finance and protection product sales while maintaining customer trust and transparency.

- Assist customers with understanding dealership and manufacturer service procedures, financing options, and vehicle ownership programs.

- Support dealership profitability goals through effective finance penetration and operational consistency.

- Collaborate with sales leadership to support reasonable profitability and customer satisfaction on vehicle transactions.

Lender Relations & Operational Coordination

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and manufacturer finance sources.

- Monitor finance programs, lender requirements, rate structures, and financing opportunities that support dealership operations.

- Maintain current knowledge of finance, lease, and insurance products available to customers.

- Coordinate with sales managers, accounting personnel, and dealership leadership regarding deal flow, funding, and operational requirements.

- Support operational consistency and timely completion of all finance and vehicle transaction activities.

Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with dealership procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting vehicle sales and finance operations.

- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of customer financial and personal information.

- Maintain current licensing, certifications, and continuing education requirements as applicable.

- Maintain organized finance records, contracts, and required dealership documentation.

- Support dealership operational standards related to ethical business practices, professionalism, and compliance accountability.

Leadership & Team Support

- Support training and development efforts related to finance programs, protection products, and operational procedures for sales personnel as assigned.

- Provide sales teams with updated information regarding financing programs, lease options, and lender requirements.

- Participate in leadership meetings, operational discussions, and dealership training initiatives.

- Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and accountability-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous automotive finance, dealership operations, banking, lending, or related finance management experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- AFIP certification preferred or required as applicable.

- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required.
