This is a hybrid position sitting onsite 3 days per week in our Clearwater, FL HQ - 13535 Feather Sound Drive, Clearwater FL 33762
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Month-End Close & General Ledger
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across assigned accounts, accurately, on time, and consistently.
Understand the normal activity in your areas (accruals, reversals, classifications, and the support behind them).
Research reconciling items and unusual variances, and ask for help when something doesn't add up.
Accounting and Business Acumen
Build a working understanding of the accounts you own: what drives them, how they connect to the business, and how to spot when something looks off.
Take on new account areas and responsibilities as you demonstrate readiness.
Pitch in on ad hoc requests and projects as needed, and be a reliable, responsive teammate.
Internal Controls & Audit Support
Execute internal control procedures in your areas and keep workpapers and documentation clean and review-ready.
Prepare supporting schedules and respond to internal and external audit requests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or an associate's degree with additional relevant experience.
0-2 years of accounting experience; internships count.
Comfort with modern productivity and AI tools.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
