GEICO seeks a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Agency Collateral to join our Independent Agent Sales team. The successful candidate will directly report to the Director, Agency Sales Engagement Strategy and will own and manage the processes for identifying, requesting, developing, organizing, promoting and refining GEICO’s portfolio of agency-facing collateral. This is a key support function for both Sales Enablement and Agency Engagement, ensuring all approved agency collateral is high quality, technically accurate, legally reviewed, regularly updated, well-organized, easy-to access, and flexible to the needs of GEICO’s sales organization and IA partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates and drives all-product collateral audit; conducts gap analyses and oversees collateral development plans in partnership with the PL and CL Account Development Senior Strategists
- Organizes and promotes awareness of and access to portfolio of agent-facing collateral, videos, job aids, presentations, product guides, one-pagers, and engagement tools
- Owns maintaining the platform and systems used to store, organize and version-control collateral.
- Proactively identifies needs from upcoming new product and platform updates and engages PL and CL Account Development Sr. Strategists to initiate new product collateral planning and development.
- Designs and leads annual process for IA Sales to review new sales team-produced collateral, submit collateral requests and updates; oversees brief development and project manages updates and the creation and promotion of new assets
- Partners with the Virtual Event Manager and product specialists to build and maintain Product FAQs and suggest content collateral updates and product guide enhancements based on webinar Q&A and agent feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience as a marketing, communications, sales or process manager
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Highly organized and able to move multiple complex projects forward independently
- Experience with and proficiency in a variety of sales enablement, content management and project management technologies (SharePoint, Coda, etc.)
- Strong ability to collaborate, indirectly influence and build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience with insurance products, processes, and systems.
LOCATION:
- Remote with travel up to 5% (events, sales conference)
- Opportunity to work in available office space at a regional GEICO office, not required
Annual Salary
$109,675.00 - $172,200.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
