GEICO seeks a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Virtual Agent Events to join our Independent Agent Sales team. The successful candidate will directly report to the Director, Agency Sales Engagement Strategy and will be responsible for all aspects of virtual event planning, implementation and refinement.

This role will have a direct impact on GEICO’s ability to scale it’s onboarding, growth and profitability initiatives through broad reach communication across its entire network of independent agent partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Owns all aspects of virtual event planning, implementation and refinement, including: topic selection and development, date and time coordination, speaker identification and preparation, audience registration and attendance, content development, audience engagement, event reporting, socializing agent feedback, and ongoing content and experience improvement
- Collaborates with product, sales and communications leadership to identify topics, objectives, and success measures for IA virtual events.
- Identifies, schedules, prepares and supports subject matter experts who present on virtual events to ensure everyone on-air is ready, confident, and able to add value for the audience.
- Develops, refines, and continuously tests new creative and methods for driving registration, attendance and engagement, partnering with Sr. Strategist, Engagement Incentives to design and incorporate micro-incentives as needed.
- Partners with Manager, Agency Collateral to share relevant collateral and tools with participants, record and distribute on-demand webinars, and update webinar materials as needed.
- Hosts/Emcees a variety or product, process, marketing and systems webinars each week, including back-end set-up, backstage presenter prep, webinar facilitation and engagement, and post-event reporting.
- Collaborates with Sr. Strategists, Account Development and Manager, Agency Collateral to use agent feedback and Q&A to expand and refine product guides, agent-facing collateral and speaker preparation materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of experience as a marketing, communications or sales strategist.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Highly organized and able to move multiple complex projects forward independently
- Experience and confidence presenting and facilitating webinars and recording visual media.
- Experience with and proficiency in a variety of presentation and virtual meeting media (e.g. Powerpoint, Zoom)
- Strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders from corporate headquarters to regional to individual office locations.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing programs designed to drive loyalty, trust, and deeper engagement.

LOCATION:

- Remote with travel up to 5% (events, sales conference)
- Opportunity to work in available office space at a regional GEICO office, not required

Annual Salary
$109,675.00 - $172,200.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
