We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused Client Transport Specialist (Driver) to support clients receiving outpatient addiction treatment services. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, maintaining a safe environment, and making a meaningful impact in their community every day.

Schedule

Part-Time

- Monday-Friday

- 15-20 hours per week

- Primarily morning hours

Position Summary

The Client Transport Specialist provides safe, reliable, and timely transportation for clients participating in Pyramid Healthcare treatment programs. In addition to transportation responsibilities, this position supports client safety, maintains required documentation, responds appropriately to emergencies, and represents Pyramid Healthcare with professionalism in both facility and community settings.

Essential Responsibilities

- Safely transport clients to and from treatment services and designated locations within established timeframes.

- Supervise and support clients during transportation while maintaining professional boundaries.

- Operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws, company policies, and transportation procedures.

- Complete and maintain all required transportation documentation accurately and timely.

- Monitor client safety throughout transportation activities and respond appropriately to emergencies or potential risk situations.

- Communicate transportation delays, vehicle concerns, client issues, and other relevant information to supervisors.

- Maintain confidentiality of all client, employee, and company information.

- Complete required trainings, certifications, and compliance requirements.

- Support a safe and welcoming treatment environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

- Experience providing healthcare transportation, client transportation, patient transportation, behavioral health services, or related human services experience preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required and must remain in good standing.

- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

- Knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable traffic laws.

- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and automobile safety.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze information and solve problems effectively.

- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during crisis situations.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

- Ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and community members.

- Ability to maintain client safety and appropriate professional boundaries during transportation services.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate a motor vehicle safely.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.

- Ability to function effectively in both office and community environments.

- Ability to travel locally and regionally as required.

Work Environment

This position works within outpatient behavioral healthcare settings, office environments, company vehicles, and community locations. Team members may encounter changing schedules, traffic conditions, weather conditions, and emergency situations while supporting transportation operations.
