Kline Galland Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated hospice care team. While prior hospice experience is welcomed, we are most excited to meet nurses who demonstrate a genuine passion for hospice care and a deep commitment to serving patients and families with dignity, respect, and compassion.
As a Per Diem Hospice RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered hospice care throughout a designated territory within King County . Territory assignments are generally stable, though occasional support in other service areas may be requested. Our hospice team is based out of our Georgetown office , where training, team meetings, and professional development activities are held.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide case management and coordinate care and community resources.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease progression, symptom management, and available services.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to interdisciplinary team members.
- Deliver evidence-based pain and symptom management.
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and standards of care.
- Promote patient dignity, comfort, and family-centered care throughout the hospice journey.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN License or Multistate RN License.
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Hospice, oncology, home health, or palliative care experience is preferred but not required.
- A sincere passion for hospice care and supporting patients and families during life's most important moments.
- If applying with a Multistate License (MSL), completion of Suicide Prevention Training prior to hire is required in accordance with Washington State regulations.
- If applying with a Multistate License (MSL), completion of the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) Multistate License demographic survey is required.
