- Collaboratively establish a roadmap and key results, track implementation across defined areas, and plan for the ongoing maintenance and evolution of the content strategy.

- Build broad, cross-functional interest in and commitment to technical content strategy practices through clear communication and influence.

- Execute hands-on planning and implementation of content innovations within the organization’s Component Content Management System (CCMS), Product Knowledge Platform, and internally developed automation and artificial intelligence tools.

- Conduct content needs and gap analyses for internal and external audiences, using findings to develop an innovative, overarching content strategy.

- Lead content strategy and documentation planning for selected new and complex documentation sets.

- Collaborate to create lightweight, extensible processes for content migration and for developing new deliverables aligned with the content strategy.

- Guide technical content project leads in applying content strategy guidelines.

- Define and use reporting and analytics to identify opportunities to improve content quality, usability, and findability.

- Facilitate conversations and research when existing content does not meet customer needs.

- Identify new opportunities for technical content to transform and support the user experience.

- Maintain awareness of emerging industry methods and technologies for delivering technical information and apply relevant approaches to long-term content evolution.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Extensive experience in technical content management or technical writing, including content architecture, content strategy, and project or change management.

- Experience designing strategic solutions for online technical content as a Content Architect and/or Content Strategist.

- Strong knowledge of DITA and experience with component content management systems (CCMSs).

- Hands-on experience with DITA XML and Markdown, scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python, and AI-assisted coding or other job-related AI workflows.

- Experience optimizing content findability through information architecture, usability improvements, metadata, and SEO.

- Demonstrated understanding of structured authoring, content reuse, GitHub, and HTML-based documentation.

- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with, collaborate across, and influence cross-functional teams and leaders.
