Financial Counselor - Infusion

Join Vancouver Clinic's Infusion Team as a full-time Financial Counselor at our 87th Avenue location!

In this vital role, you will help patients navigate the financial aspects of their care by verifying insurance eligibility, securing authorizations for infusion treatments, and providing clear guidance on benefits, co-payments, and potential out-of-pocket costs. You will be working closely with providers, patients, and clinic staff, and will play a key role in ensuring timely treatment scheduling, coordinating financial assistance resources, and delivering compassionate support throughout the patient experience. Location: 87th Ave (700 NE 87th Ave – Vancouver, WA 98664)

Schedule:  M-F, four 9-hr days, 7:30am-5pm. Day off TBD. Training for the first 4-6 weeks will be M-F 8am-5pm.

Hiring range  generally between $22.25/hour to $26.15/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- One (1) year of medical terminology and/or ICD-9, CPT, HCPC coding experience strongly preferred.

- Two-years of financial counseling experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.

- Experience with and knowledge of patient assistance programs, insurance plans, and criteria for infusion treatments required.

Pay Range:
$21.81 - $30.53
