Job Title: BIM Modeler Job Description The BIM Designer will support BIM modeling, setup, and coordination for electrical and ICT/telecommunication systems on data center projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in Revit and BIM processes who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and grow into a long-term career path in project management or senior-level technical leadership. Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems and ICT/telecommunication systems, with a primary focus on data center projects.
- Perform BIM model setup, apply project standards, and ensure consistency and accuracy across all project models.
- Coordinate closely with architects and other trade BIM coordinators to align models and resolve design and coordination issues.
- Review, interpret, and respond to redlines, updating models and plans as required to reflect design changes and corrections.
- Assist with 3D coordination efforts, including participation in clash detection workflows and resolution of conflicts between disciplines.
- Support drafting and design updates within Revit, including electrical circuiting and ICT layouts where applicable.
- Apply Revit Electrical Circuiting experience, particularly when coming from a contractor background, to ensure accurate representation of electrical systems.
- Contribute to commercial project delivery by producing clear, well-organized BIM documentation and model outputs.
- Collaborate with a small, specialized BIM team, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement of BIM standards and processes.
- Maintain a proactive, self-directed approach to work, managing tasks and deadlines in a remote or office-based environment.

Essential Skills

- 110 years of overall BIM experience, with 46 years strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of electrical BIM and Revit experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, with an electrical focus strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical or ICT systems, layouts, and circuiting principles.
- Hands-on experience with BIM modeling, drafting, and 3D coordination workflows.
- Ability to apply Revit Electrical Circuiting experience, particularly when coming from a contractor environment.
- Experience working on commercial projects within a BIM-driven design or construction setting.
- background in either contractor or design environments, with the ability to adapt to consulting-style project delivery.
- Capability to work independently without extensive hand-holding and to contribute effectively as part of a BIM team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience supporting data center projects or other mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with electrical circuiting concepts and the ability to translate them into accurate BIM models.
- Exposure to mechanical, plumbing, and ICT coordination within Revit is beneficial.
- Interest in pursuing continuing education, professional development, and relevant licenses or certifications.
- Ability to grow into a career path that may include project management, department leadership, or senior-level technical subject matter expertise.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, engineers, and other BIM coordinators.
- Comfort working in a consulting environment serving commercial, institutional, industrial, and governmental projects.

Work Environment The BIM Designer joins a dedicated BIM team of five people, becoming the sixth member in a collaborative, employee-centric environment. The role offers total remote work flexibility from any state, with optional access to offices located in Arvada and Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as Melbourne and St. Petersburg, Florida. Work hours are flexible as long as core mid-day hours are covered, allowing for a balanced schedule that supports personal and professional needs. The primary project focus is on data centers, with opportunities over time to gain exposure to other project types across commercial, institutional, industrial, and governmental sectors. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
