Field Engineer

Job Title: Field Engineer Job Description
Join our dynamic Southwest Region team as a Field Engineer supporting ongoing projects at a major technology campus. This full-time position involves front-line field management, working closely with the Superintendent to ensure project success. While the majority of your time will be spent on-site, some duties will require work in the field office. You will be crucial in project layout, supervising trade workers and subcontractors, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform project layout and surveying in conformance with design and contract documents.
- Check concrete forms for accuracy and adequacy before concrete placement.
- Conduct production trend analysis for work quantities and report for schedule and cost control.
- Assist with quality control, site safety initiatives, and coordinate trade partners as delegated.
- Coordinate material deliveries, inspect materials for quality and condition, and report discrepancies.
- Assist foremen and trade partners with plan and specification interpretation.
- Oversee trade partners and direct workforces to gain supervisory experience.
- Participate in jobsite safety meetings and weekly safety audits.
- Collaborate with the VDC team on field operations and review 3D model viewing and scheduling software.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of experience as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with general contractor processes, commercial construction, and semiconductor or data center projects.
- Familiarity with Primavera and Autodesk software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Excel-based templates, ProjectSight, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.
Work Environment
This position is located onsite at a major technology campus in Arizona. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month required. Specific start and end times are to be determined. The role offers full medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with 2 weeks of paid time off and 40 hours of sick time. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
