About the Role

Join Perpetual Corporate Trust in a governance role supporting the consistent delivery of advertising, marketing and distribution oversight activities.

As Governance and Oversight Associate, you will provide accurate and efficient operational support across governance activities. Your work will focus on advertising and marketing reviews, material distributor oversight and Design and Distribution Obligations reporting.

Working with colleagues across Governance and Oversight, Transaction Management, Client Management, Legal, Risk and Compliance, you will also engage with investment managers, distributors and platform providers.

Key Responsibilities

- Review advertising and marketing materials against relevant regulatory requirements
- Check that marketing content aligns with investment managers’ strategies and DDO compliance requirements
- Support the delivery of the Distributor Management and Oversight Framework within required policy timeframes
- Issue and track material distributor questionnaires and follow up outstanding responses
- Conduct detailed reviews as part of the material distributor oversight process
- Prepare DDO analysis and reporting for management and the Board
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and supporting documentation.

About you

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

- A degree in law, business, commerce or economics
- 1+ years experience in funds management, financial services, governance, compliance, risk, legal or a related environment.
- Knowledge of registered managed funds, distribution or compliance
- Exposure to managed investment schemes and their legal, regulatory, compliance and risk frameworks would be well regarded
- An understanding of financial services regulatory requirements, including DDO or similar governance frameworks, will be viewed favourably.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify issues and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
