About this role
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.
- Own portfolio-level trust outcomes: Set strategic direction and drive a multi-year portfolio across Security, Compliance, GRC and Privacy, tying company priorities to clear executive decisions
- Lead cross-functional delivery: Orchestrate execution across Trust Engineering, Product, Platform, Legal, GRC, and IT, managing dependencies, technical risks, and organizational trade-offs
- Drive secure-by-default engineering : Lead initiatives to embed automated security controls, trusted AI-native SDLC, software supply chain defenses, and continuous vulnerability monitoring into developer workflows
- Enable regulated market access : Drive technical readiness and authorizations to operate in regulated environments (such as FedRAMP and regional certifications) to meet market commitments
- Turn ambiguity into clarity: Structure complex technical and governance challenges, establish effective decision forums, and align cross-functional leaders
- Influence executive leadership : Partner closely with C-level executives, providing fact-based risk insights, escalating blockers, and driving critical decisions to closure
- Establish durable mechanisms : Build scalable frameworks for risk prioritization, dependency management, compliance evidence pipelines, and security reviews
- Measure impact and risk reduction : Define metrics to track security posture improvements, vulnerability reduction, audit readiness, and overall business value
