Job Title: Associate Instock Manager I Job Description The Associate Instock Manager I plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the supply chain for music and merchandise products. This position focuses on managing inventory, improving vendor performance through strategic collaboration, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. The role requires close partnership with internal cross-functional teams such as central supply chain, transportation, vendor management, and other business stakeholders to ensure high availability and a seamless customer experience, especially during peak events and Q4 activities. Responsibilities

- Manage inventory for music and merchandise product categories, ensuring items are in stock and available to customers.
- Root cause and resolve operational exceptions, including out-of-stock products, missing site offers, and supply chain disruptions.
- Engage directly with assigned vendors to build strong operational partnerships and provide an engaging partner experience.
- Drive timely resolution of vendor-related issues while identifying opportunities to strengthen supply chain performance.
- Diagnose root causes of recurring operational problems and invent scalable solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
- Proactively identify and surface potential supply chain disruptions before they impact business performance or customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, including central supply chain, transportation, vendor management, and marketing, to align on vendor strategies and operational priorities.
- Manage day-to-day task volumes and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met according to defined quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and update reporting focused on key operational performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support high-volume operational periods such as events and end-of-year peak, contributing to successful execution of Q4 initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong follow-through on open issues and action items, ensuring timely completion and clear communication with partners.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment by staying flexible, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

- At least 1 year of experience using Excel, including working with data to support reporting and analysis.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to diagnose root causes of operational issues and develop practical, scalable solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing inventory and operational data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while consistently meeting SLAs and quality standards.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong follow-through and ownership mindset to drive issues to resolution.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, particularly during peak periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience working with vendor-facing roles or in environments that require building and maintaining strong external partnerships.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes such as forecasting, replenishment, and transportation coordination.
- Experience creating and updating performance reports and dashboards using Excel or similar tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at different levels across the organization.
- Interest in or familiarity with music and merchandise product categories.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential operational risks and take proactive steps to mitigate them.

Work Environment This role operates in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team culture that partners closely with vendor, customer support, and marketing teams. The position is based in an office environment in Culver City, CA and follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional overtime, weekend, or holiday work may be required, particularly around peak seasons such as October through January and major events. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with high volumes during peak periods and a strong focus on operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
