About the Role

As Head of Technology, Taiwan , you will be responsible for the effective and efficient leadership of ANZ's Technology function in Taiwan, ensuring alignment with country business priorities, divisional objectives and global technology strategies.

This role provides leadership, management and governance of the technology services supporting ANZ's Taiwan business. You will oversee the implementation of appropriate structures, processes and frameworks to ensure technology services are delivered safely, reliably and in line with regulatory, risk and business requirements.

Working closely with business leaders, regional technology teams and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in translating global technology strategy into local execution, enabling business growth, operational excellence and a strong risk and control environment.

What will your day look like?

As Head of Technology, Taiwan , you will:

- Serve as the trusted technology advisor to the Country Senior Management Team, providing strategic technology leadership and business partnership to support country objectives.

- Oversees the management and execution of the Technology function and its activities within ANZ Taiwan.

- Lead the delivery of secure, reliable and resilient technology services that support business performance and customer outcomes.

- Manage technology budgets, investment priorities and service costs to maximise business value and operational efficiency.

- Develop strong partnerships with business, operations and regional technology stakeholders to align local requirements with ANZ's global technology strategy.

- Establish and oversee effective technology governance, service management and operational frameworks.

- Drive a strong technology risk and control culture, ensuring the security, integrity and availability of systems and information.

- Lead technology engagement with local regulators, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and managing audits, reviews and regulatory responses.

- Provide leadership to the Taiwan Technology team, building capability and ensuring the successful delivery of Application Services and local technology initiatives.

- Oversee the performance of local, outsourced and cloud-based technology services to ensure service quality, resilience and compliance standards are met.

- Ensure the Technology organisation and workforce capability are positioned to meet both current business needs and ANZ's future strategic direction.

- Acts as the Country Information Security Officer for ANZ Taiwan and is responsible for ensuring effective oversight of technology risk, information security, cybersecurity governance and outsourcing arrangements in accordance with local regulatory requirements.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance across the Technology function.

- Role model ANZ values and behaviours while promoting an inclusive and accountable team environment.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

- Significant experience within the banking and financial services industry, including leadership of complex technology functions and large application portfolios.

- Proven experience operating within a highly regulated environment, balancing business outcomes, technology delivery, risk management and regulatory requirements.

- Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to, engaging with and leading executive and governance forums.

- Demonstrated expertise in technology service management, including embedding governance frameworks, operating models and global standard processes.

- Strong experience managing outsourced, offshore and cloud-based technology services and vendors.

- Proven ability to lead technology risk, compliance and control activities, including supporting risk assessments and regulatory requirements.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence business, technology and executive stakeholders.

- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including experience managing technology budgets and investment decisions.

- Deep problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities.

- Experience building high-performing teams, developing talent and strengthening organisational capability.

- A growth mindset, continuous improvement focus and commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.

- Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills, both written and verbal.
