The Role

We’re seeking a qualified Plumber to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and minor works across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Brisbane.

You'll play a key role in ensuring hydraulic systems and plumbing assets are operating safely and efficiently, while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Based on BGIS Technical Services' Hydraulic Technician requirements, the role includes maintenance and repairs to hot water systems, TMVs, backflow prevention devices, and general plumbing infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs

- Maintenance of hot water systems, TMVs and backflow prevention devices

- Fault finding and rectification of hydraulic services

- Completing work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time

- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and compliance requirements

- Participating in an on-call roster as required

- Based on the BGIS Hydraulic Technician position description, responsibilities include hydraulic maintenance, plant replacement, customer service delivery, subcontractor coordination, and compliance with WHSE requirements.

Your Education, Experience & Skills

- Certificate III in Plumbing (essential)

- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)

- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)

- Experience in commercial maintenance, facilities management, or service-based plumbing environments

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
