About the Role:
The Student Service Agent serves as the primary point of contact for the Office Student Financial Assistance (OneStop) to prospective and current students, parents, and the public.
‌

The Student Service Agent will

- Maintain knowledge of university policies regarding student records, myNKU, Federal Financial Aid, and other academic policies.
- Provide prompt and thorough professional resolution to student questions and concerns while exceeding customer service expectations.
- Complete trainings in FERPA, phone and customer service etiquette, SAP GUI, Sigma ProSAM, Federal Student Aid, and will be expected to upkeep knowledge of university policies and the services offered by other campus departments to properly guide students.

Primary Responsibilities

- Receiving mail and documents delivered to the One Stop
- Transporting documents from the One Stop to Financial Aid/Registrar/Admissions
- Monitoring One Stop traffic flow
- Assisting students with basic campus inquiries
- Directing students to the appropriate team members
- Keeping track of number of students, we receive
- Escort students from One Stop to other offices
- Scanning documents for the OFA processing team
- Assist with answering inquires via phone, email, virtual appointment, or online chat (if needed)

Qualifications

Desirable traits and qualifications include strong writing skills, ability to think critically and analytically, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, the ability to work independently, a positive attitude, good academic standing, and a willingness to learn.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.

Work Schedule

Office Hours are Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Applicants should be able to work up to 25 hours per week during Fall and Spring, with a potential of working 35 hours during the summer. A minimum of 10 hours weekly is required. Actual schedule varies depending on office needs.
