OTC Contract Manager

Then come in and join our global team as an OTC Contract Manager to be involved in accounting, order backlog, Contract Assets, Contract Liabilities, revenue recognition and contract knowledge. You will be responsible for postings from customer contracts in line with reporting guidelines (IFRS & local GAAP) and integrity of books and records. You will also be the decision-maker and reviewer of the contracts (SD & RAR) in SAP from a financial perspective.

Your Role:

- You will ensure compliant contract / order set-up and modifications in close collaboration with Contract Admin.
- You will monitor the value flows (revenue, order backlog, Contract Assets, Contract Liabilities) ensuring the accuracy of books and records on contract level.
- You will analyze the deviations of contracts/ orders and triggers necessary measures as well as corrections.
- You will monitor contracts blocked in SAP (FARR RAI Monitor), if and where applicable
- You will generate and process Revenue Accounting Contracts as well as the respective approvals (SD & RAR); trigger the posting of new orders and revenue.
- You will perform Performance Obligation (POB) determination check.
- You will generate transaction price allocation check/ triggering of reallocations
- You will perform manual fulfillments and postings from contracts with customers.
- You will review the allocation of cost of goods sold (COGS) with respect to recognized revenue.
- You will perform active quantity management, including cleansing transaction at month end, if and where applicable.
- You will handle deferrals and provisions.
- You will perform reconciliation of balances of contract assets, contract liabilities and receivable adjustments.
- You will terminate Revenue Accounting Contracts including final allocations; enable clearing of contract assets and contract liabilities.
- You will provide inputs for Revenue forecasting and monitor the progress of Contracts for Revenue Recognition.

Your Expertise:

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar Finance Operational role
- Confident in supporting change management activities and continuous improvement projects
- Knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS
- Knowledge of working in SAP environment (FI/CO/SD Modules)

Work Experience
