The Role & What You Will Be Doing

This position will lead the local medical team, ensure alignment and execution of local/regional medical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key healthcare stakeholders to drive meaningful impact for patients and the business.
- Manages the project plan for all molecules identified for launch within timelines set by business needs.
- Responsible for the entire portfolio review project under the functional guidance of the global Portfolio Management department, aligned with and approved by the local management team (Commercial Management and Country Manager).
- Participates in and supports the local organization’s proposals during the monthly global launch management meetings.
- Responsible for regularly informing the Country Manager to ensure their participation in the final review of sessions relevant to the local organization, for approval of the proposed plan.
- Organizes and coordinates Portfolio Review sessions (based on opportunities identified by the global team and local needs for work and internal alignment).
- Organizes regular sessions with the Commercial and Market Access departments to update launch-related information.
- Manages and coordinates the molecule launch process in collaboration with cross-functional teams: market potential analysis, entry barriers and/or opportunities, competitors, pricing, P&L, regulatory procedures, lead times, codes, artworks, launch dates, forecast review, agreement on launch volumes, serialization—working closely with Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Supply, and Legal.
- Manages pre-launch projects for new products in line with the strategy agreed with the local organization’s commercial management.
- Produces analyses for sales forecast, demand, channels, NSP, acceptable PC, and market assumptions within new product pre-launch processes, according to the agreed timeline.
- Reviews monthly (or whenever new information emerges with immediate impact) and reports the status of launches planned for the current and following year.
- Reviews, according to the schedule requested by the local organization (usually 4 times/year), the status and P&L of launches on a multi-year cycle within the strategic plan (5–10 years).
- Analyzes the market to identify business opportunities: proposes collaboration projects to use resources efficiently, as well as molecules that are in shortage on the market or would support patients.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry, with responsibilities in business analysis, project management, portfolio management, commercial excellence, forecasting, or similar areas.
- Experience coordinating projects and tracking implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze and interpret commercial and financial data.
- Good knowledge of project management and monitoring action plans.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and analyses for management.
- Understanding of commercial processes and product launch mechanisms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced English level.
