What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you'll work directly with senior client stakeholders on large-scale capital programs, transformation initiatives, and complex delivery challenges. That could mean advising on project set-up, governance, risk, delivery performance, or how digital technologies can improve outcomes across the asset lifecycle.
A big part of your impact will come from helping clients make better decisions on projects that matter to communities, industries, and the economy. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, guide sustainable change programs, and help clients improve performance across development, delivery, commissioning, and operations.
Working here means leading across multiple workstreams while building trusted relationships with clients and mentoring teams around you. You'll collabor ate with specialists across areas like digital, data analytics, design thinking, and economics to bring broader Deloitte capability to each engagement.
About the team
Deloitte's Capital Projects team advises clients across transport, social infrastructure, energy and resources, manufacturing, and telecommunications. The team helps organisations set up, deliver, and operate major capital projects and programs, with a strong focus on improving performance across the end-to-end asset lifecycle through digital technologies, better delivery practices, and sharper risk management.
Enough about us, let's talk about you
You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
- Extensive consulting experience in a Tier 1 consulting firm, boutique strategy house, engineering advisory firm, or government environment
- Strong experience in infrastructure and capital project development and delivery
- Deep expertise in program management, transformation, or change across complex project environments
- Proven ability to lead teams, build senior client relationships, and grow business opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgement in ambiguous or high-stakes situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence a broad stakeholder group
- A genuine interest in developing others and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team
- Experience in major transport and/or utilities projects, or with structured consulting approaches and frameworks
