Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Ballycoolin
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 -37.5 hours per week

At DSV, we keep supply chains moving across the globe. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Ballycoolin operation and help deliver outstanding service, operational excellence, and a safe working environment.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee a section of the warehouse, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently while achieving customer KPIs and business objectives. You'll lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives, creating a positive culture focused on performance, safety, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

• Lead warehouse operations to meet customer demands and operational targets.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control, and regular stock takes.
• Maintain accurate warehouse data within warehouse management and IT systems.
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse operatives.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing support and feedback.
• Manage attendance, conduct return-to-work interviews, and support employee wellbeing.
• Communicate daily priorities, targets, and operational requirements to the team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Investigate and resolve warehouse issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare operational reports and performance statistics.
• Ensure health, safety, and security standards are maintained at all times.
• Promote safe working practices, including adherence to manual handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and secure warehouse environment.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport providers when required.
• Support management cover during absences and annual leave.
• Participate in disciplinary and grievance processes where required.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and driving operational performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of warehouse health, safety, and security requirements.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
