WHAT TO EXPECT
Our 12-month industrial placement offers you hands-on experience within one of our core emerging technology areas. This may include work across artificial intelligence, data and software-led innovation, with opportunities to explore and prototype practical AI-enabled solutions.
You’ll have expert support from colleagues, as well as opportunities to use your own initiative to solve problems and drive projects forward. It’s designed to give you a real insight into what Liberty Global has to offer and you’ll be able to network and meet senior leaders from across the business.
To help you get the best out of your time with us, we’ll make sure you’re heading down the right path from the start. Your first few weeks will be spent with a range of experts providing insight into the Tech and Cybersecurity function of the business, and assessing and developing your functional technology skills. We’ll give you all the tools needed to make the placement year a success. By the end, you’ll have gained extra confidence, skills and knowledge, which will help you finish your final year at university effectively. Depending on the placement, you may develop hands-on capability in areas such as Python, software development, data analysis, AI/ML concepts, generative AI and rapid prototyping, applying these skills to real business and technology challenges.
