Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist in any operation matters related for Masjid KLIA.
Responsible to perform the task of ‘bilal’ as per schedule.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Ensure PA System in good condition and arrange accordingly.
- Assist in any program for ‘pengimarahan’ of Masjid KLIA ie Kuliah Agama, Kelas Pengajian Islam etc Promote Masjid KLIA as Islamic Centre to all Airports Staff and qariah.
- Assisting and in ensure record, document, letters, memo filled accordingly.
Key Challenges
- Ensure the program of pengimarahan Masjid KLIA attracting and valuable to Airport Staffs and qariah.
- Proper program that will encourage Airports Staff to come to Masjid KLIA.
- Ensure the smooth running of sound system.
Skills
- Good knowledge in Mosque administration & management
- Have good writing and communication skill both in Bahasa Melayu, Arabic & English with various level of positions
- Computer literate preferably in Microsoft Office & Excel
Relevant Industries
Preferred Background: Islamic Studies, Mosque Management/Administration, Facility Management, Event Management, Community Relations, or General Operations.
Language Proficiency: Functional communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and Arabic (or English) to recite the Azan/Iqamah, perform duties as 'bilal', coordinate religious programs (pengimarahan), and liaise with airport staff, community (qariah), and local religious authorities.
Work Experience: Candidates with 1–2 years of experience or exposure in Mosque Operations/Management, Religious/Islamic Affairs, Facility Management, Event Coordination, or General Administrative Operations are encouraged to apply. Fresh SPM / SVM / STPM / STAM / Matriculation / Foundation holders with a strong background in Islamic studies, active participation in mosque/community activities, and suitability for operational duties are also highly encouraged to apply.
Education
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with:
Credit in Bahasa Melayu
- Passed in English
- Passed in Mathematics
OR
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional:
Credit in Bahasa Melayu (Code 1104)
- PNGKA: >2.5
