Technical Coordinator

Location : Canada (Toronto Branch)

Webuild is seeking a Technical Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating all engineering activities required to support bid preparation and project development within the Canadian branch. The role will ensure technical oversight of all involved disciplines, coordination of external consultants, management of interfaces with clients and project stakeholders, and control of the technical documentation required for tender submissions.

Key Responsibility

- Coordinate the activities of the technical team and external engineering/design consultants.

- Oversee civil, railway, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design activities.

- Define scopes of work for external consultants and engineering firms.

- Analyze and propose technical improvements, value engineering solutions, and design modifications.

- Coordinate permitting, approvals, and authorization processes.

- Manage design reviews and document control activities.

- Coordinate BIM activities and monitor clash detection and resolution processes.

- Supervise geological, geotechnical, and topographical investigations.

- Provide technical support to procurement and subcontracting processes.

- Interface with Clients, Concessionaires, and project stakeholders.

- Provide engineering and technical support to bidding and tendering activities.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, or in a similar role within complex construction projects.

- Solid experience in infrastructure projects, including metro systems, railways, major civil works, and EPC projects.

- Proven experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination and management of external consultants.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Salary Range

Managerial level: €75,000 – €85,000 gross annual base salary.
