Join our team in Amanjena.   Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin, bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private pools. Views stretch across the olive groves and palms of the oasis, extending to the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

Role

The Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments and guest experiences while ensuring the highest level of service and professionalism. In addition to performing treatments, the role involves mentoring junior therapists, maintaining treatment standards, and supporting the Spa Manager in daily operations and training.

Responsibilities

- Provide a wide range of professional spa treatments (Aman signatures and other massage, facial, body, and beauty therapies) in line with the spa standards and protocols.
- Ensure that every guest receives personalized and memorable service, enhancing overall satisfaction and loyalty.
- Supervise and support the spa team in daily operations to maintain smooth service flow and consistency.
- Assist the Spa Manager with training, performance feedback, and skill development of therapists.
- Monitor treatment room cleanliness, equipment condition, and overall hygiene in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Ensure all spa products and treatment materials are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Upsell spa treatments and retail products, contributing to the spa’s financial performance.
- Assist in managing inventory, stock replenishment, and ordering of supplies when required.
- Maintain accurate guest records, treatment notes, and reports as per spa policy.
- Act as a role model in upholding company values, grooming standards, and professional ethics.
- Handle guest feedback and report any issues or incidents promptly to the Spa Manager.

- Ensure proper treatment room cleaning after each treatment
- Reset up treatment rooms after each treatment

- Manage product and cabin inventory
- Follow the instructions, treatment schedules, and schedules established by the SPA Manager
- Comply with the hotel's internal rules and regulations and Spa standards
- Maintain an appropriate attitude to reflect and promote the Spa's image
- Constantly monitor personal hygiene
- Maintain uniform in good condition
- Keep the workstation clean and maintain equipment
- Carry out all tasks assigned by the manager, within the scope of his professional category and according to his skills

Requirements

- Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness environment.
- Strong expertise in a wide range of treatments, including massages, body therapies, facials, and wellness rituals.
- Fluent in English with excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
