About this role

- Job Summary:

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination and continuous improvement of Telecel’s ERP environment, with primary responsibility for Odoo.

The role acts as the Group’s internal ERP focal point, ensuring effective platform usage, data quality, user support, training, issue resolution and coordination with external ERP integrators. The position also supports the development and implementation of the ERP roadmap and related digital, automation and AI initiatives across the Group.

2. Key Responsibilities:

ERP Platform Management & Support

- Act as the primary internal point of contact for Odoo-related matters across the Group.

- Manage and coordinate ERP tickets, bugs, service requests and change requests.

- Maintain a centralized internal Level 1 helpdesk for ERP users and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.

- Coordinate with the external ERP integrator and monitor issue resolution against agreed service levels.

- Maintain full visibility of open issues, priorities, dependencies and resolution status.

ERP Roadmap & Project Management

- Collect and assess ERP enhancement and change requests from Group entities and Operating Companies.

- Develop and maintain the ERP development roadmap for validation by the Group CFO.

- Coordinate the implementation and rollout of new ERP modules, functionalities and enhancements.

- Monitor project timelines, quality, costs and deliverables.

- Support testing, validation and implementation of new developments before deployment.

Data Quality & Internal Controls

- Monitor the quality and completeness of data entered into the ERP platform.

- Identify recurring data-entry errors, process gaps and incorrect system usage.

- Ensure supporting documentation, references, purchase orders and other required information are properly maintained within the system.

- Promote consistent ERP processes and best practices across Group entities.

- Support improvements that strengthen audit readiness and the reliability of ERP information.

Training & User Adoption

- Provide ongoing ERP training to new joiners and existing users.

- Coordinate training related to the rollout of new modules, including HR, payroll, reporting and other functionalities.

- Develop user guidance, training materials and best-practice documentation.

- Support users in improving their understanding and effective use of the platform.

- Where required, support training and user adoption of other relevant digital and AI tools.

ERP Reporting & KPIs

- Define and maintain operational KPIs related to ERP usage and platform performance.

- Provide regular reports to the Group CFO on open issues, integrator performance, platform usage and implementation progress.

- Monitor ERP costs by user and entity in coordination with Group Finance.

- Develop reporting that supports management oversight and continuous improvement.

Technical & Integration Support

- Maintain strong internal technical knowledge of Odoo and its workflows.

- Liaise effectively with external developers and integrators and review proposed technical solutions.

- Support the assessment of ERP security, access and system-related concerns in coordination with the relevant teams.

- Support system integrations and developments involving Odoo and other Group platforms.

- Develop or support tools, scripts and system enhancements where appropriate.

- Contribute to automation and AI initiatives that interact with the ERP environment.

- Work with internal technical resources on relevant development and integration projects.

3. Key Deliverables

- Centralized and up-to-date ERP ticket and issue tracker.

- Regular ERP performance and progress reporting.

- Group ERP development and implementation roadmap.

- ERP usage and performance KPI dashboard.

- Data-quality monitoring and corrective-action tracking.

- ERP cost-per-user and cost-per-entity reporting.

- Structured user training and onboarding support.

- Improved internal resolution of Level 1 ERP issues.

- ERP documentation and user guidance maintained and updated.

- Within the first 90 days, establish Group-wide reporting covering the relevant ERP KPIs and performance metrics.

4. Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.

- Strong practical experience with Odoo ERP and ERP business workflows.

- Experience in ERP implementation, administration, support or project management.

- Good understanding of finance and operational processes within an ERP environment.

- Experience coordinating with ERP integrators, developers and business users.

- Experience in user training, troubleshooting and system support.

- Technical/development knowledge and ability to understand system integrations and customization requirements.

- Knowledge of automation, AI tools and digital solutions is an advantage.

- Experience within a multi-entity or international organization is an advantage.

6. Reporting Line & Key Interfaces

- Reports directly to the Group CFO.

- Operates as an individual contributor with no direct reports.

- Works independently within the defined ERP scope and priorities.

- Works closely with the Group CIO / Group IT.

- Coordinates with Group Finance and Accounting teams.

- Works with Operating Company Finance and IT teams.

- Liaises with the external ERP integrator (Azkatech).

- Supports HR and other functional teams using ERP modules.

- Collaborates with internal development, automation and AI resources, where required.

- Has no direct budget responsibility, other than monitoring and reporting ERP costs against budget.

7. Performance Expectations

Performance will be assessed based on:

- Timely resolution and escalation of ERP issues.

- ERP system availability, usability and user support.

- Improvement in Group-wide ERP data quality.

- Delivery of agreed ERP roadmap initiatives.
