Job Description
- Support the Data Centre Team Lead in coordinating ICT Disaster Recovery (DR) activities across the Data Centre environment
- Contribute to the definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of ICT DR plans and governance artefacts for in-scope services
- Coordinate DR planning, testing, reporting and remediation activities across infrastructure, operations, application, security and identity management teams
- Maintain DR readiness dashboards, evidence repositories, action trackers and governance reporting mechanisms
- Translate Business Continuity Management (BCM) requirements and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outputs into structured ICT DR activities and deliverables
- Monitor and report on DR readiness KPIs, action status, testing outcomes and remediation progress
- Support the review and maintenance of DR ownership models, review cycles and operational readiness processes
- Act as the Data Centre Team focal point for ICT DR coordination with BCM stakeholders, service owners, vendors and internal teams
- Ensure DR documentation, reporting and evidence are maintained in accordance with governed information handling requirements
- Support the coordination of service recovery preparedness, including backup, restore, replication, failover and failback readiness activities
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives related to resilience, service recovery governance and operational readiness
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure coordination, resilience, continuity support or service governance, including at least 3 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity support, resilience coordination or service recovery governance
- Minimum education level 6 degree (Bachelor's)
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification or equivalent, internationally recognized certification
- At least 1 certification among:
- Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI)
- Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
- or equivalent
- Good understanding of ICT Disaster Recovery governance, operational readiness and service recovery principles within IT and Data Centre environments
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning, testing methodologies, remediation management and readiness reporting
- Good knowledge of backup, restore, replication, failover, failback and service recovery concepts
- Good understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM), Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and their application to ICT Disaster Recovery
- Strong coordination skills across infrastructure, operations, applications, security, identity and access management, vendors and business stakeholders
- Good knowledge of major incident, change management and problem management processes
- Experience maintaining plans, action trackers, testing schedules, governance artefacts and management reports
- Strong analytical, organisational and follow-up skills with the ability to drive actions to closure
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation and escalation management skills
- Ability to manage documentation and reporting within controlled information domains, including Unclassified and Restricted environments
- Ability to work effectively as a member of the Data Centre Team while supporting the Data Centre Team Lead in ICT DR-related activities
