About this role

Title - Associate– Product Strategy & Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber 2–4 year professional to join the Chief of Staff Office supporting the Product organization. The role will work closely with the CPO and Product leadership team to drive execution of strategic priorities, manage critical cross-functional programs, create operating rigor and solve high-priority business/product problems. This is not a traditional PMO or coordination role; the individual will progressively take independent ownership of strategic initiatives and ambiguous business problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end execution of critical Product programs and strategic initiatives; translate priorities into objectives, milestones, owners, dependencies and outcomes.

- Drive independent projects with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Business, Operations, Risk, Finance and other functions; proactively identify and resolve risks and bottlenecks.

- Identify where program/ projects are stuck, bring the right stakeholders together, run the meetings effectively, and drive resolution. Can influence the group to dive deep into topics and summarise action items into clear communications.

- Support CPO/Product leadership reviews, business reviews and strategic planning; prepare concise, insight-led leadership updates and decision materials.

- Ensure leadership decisions translate into action and identify recurring execution gaps to improve operating mechanisms

- Independently structure and solve ambiguous business/product problems; conduct analysis, develop hypotheses, business cases and data-backed recommendations. Ability to independently improve processes and implement fallback options in case of failure. Ability to identify risks and identify corrective measures to derisk. Escalate appropriately.

- Progressively own initiatives such as product launches, transformation programs, operating-model changes, ecosystem initiatives, productivity programs, capability assessments and CPO-led strategic projects.

- Build metrics and dashboards to measure outcomes; use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive tracking, reporting and research.

What We Are Looking For

- 2–4 years in management consulting and execution, product operations, business operations, program management, fintech/technology, strategy and ops, or a similar environment.

- Strong structured problem-solving, analytical ability, and program management skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.

- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations and work comfortably with senior leadership.

- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong PowerPoint, Excel and data-analysis skills.

- High ownership, bias for action, and curiosity about how businesses and products work.

- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, digital products or technology is preferred.

What Success Looks Like

- Drives outcomes rather than simply tracking activities.

- Converts Product strategy into execution.

- Identifies and solves problems proactively.

- Creates clarity from ambiguity and influences senior stakeholders.

- Improves Product organization effectiveness.

- Uses AI as a force multiplier rather than spending time on AI-automatable work.
