About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Engineering team, supporting utilities optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process engineering, cost savings analysis, and project execution within a dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment. The Co-op will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to identify efficiency opportunities, support business case development, and contribute to operational improvement projects.

This position is part of our 6-month Co-op Program, running from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027. The role is fully onsite at our Breinigsville Brewery location, with team members expected to work five days per week from our Breinigsville Brewery.

Key Responsibilities

Utilities & Process Engineering Support

- Update and maintain Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational requirements.
- Calculate utility costs and quantify associated savings opportunities across manufacturing operations.
- Analyze utility consumption data and support efforts to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Continuous Improvement & Project Support

- Collaborate with operations teams to identify, evaluate, and justify utility savings opportunities.
- Assist with the development of business cases for operational and continuous improvement projects.
- Support engineering initiatives and operational start-up activities as needed.

Administrative & Project Work

- Maintain project documentation, calculations, and engineering records.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project findings and recommendations.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must continue to be enrolled in school upon the completion of the co-op.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical information and perform engineering calculations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
