Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Oracle APEX Developer for our Rocky Mountain Steel Mills in Pueblo, CO. The Oracle APEX Developer will work closely with business and plant personnel to design, enhance, and support systems that improve production and operational performance. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, modernize systems, and improve business performance across a diverse steel manufacturing and recycling network.

- Research and design software systems in support of the production, quality and shipping activities for our products
- Troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing MIS applications as required
- Performing other software development duties as necessary
- Schedule and attend meetings with Operation, Quality, Maintenance and Shipping users to develop software requirements
- Provide training and support for custom application to manufacturing personnel
- Providing computer application development and maintenance using Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
- Develop and deploy DSI mobile application to Barcode and RFID scanners, tablets and mobile computers
- Performs other duties as they might be assigned

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience designing, developing and deploying applications within a Oracle Developer Suite 11g environment
- Experience with data modeling, PL/QL, Java Script and general web development is required
- Oracle APEX, JSON/ RESTful Web Services and Linux/UNIX scripting development experience
- Experience with relational databases, Oracle 12C preferred
- Experience in program design including object oriented design
- Manufacturing experience
- Manufacturing experience in steel industry, preferred

Compensation

$107,000 - $115,000
