About this role

About The Role

We're looking for an Account Director to join our growing Commercial team at Inardua. This is a senior, quota-carrying role responsible for driving revenue growth through new logo acquisition and through the retention and expansion of our existing customers, managing opportunities end-to-end from qualification through to closure.

You'll build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at our customers and across the Salesforce teams we work most closely with, using a strong working knowledge of Salesforce's products and delivery approaches to help customers and their Salesforce AEs translate Salesforce investment into real business value. This is a role for a self-starter who can own, manage and convert opportunities independently within a broad commercial framework, bringing sound judgement and accountability to every stage of the deal.

Focusing on Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing, you'll work with customers to identify opportunities for transformation, position Inardua's expertise, and ensure successful delivery outcomes in partnership with our consultants. Operating primarily across the UK and Ireland, with opportunities across wider EMEA, this role calls for someone commercially sharp, emotionally intelligent and collaborative, with strong business acumen and a consultative sales style.

About Us

Inardua was founded in 2020. We're the AI transformation partner for Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing, with partnerships across Frontier AI, CRM & Platform/Infrastructure. We're a Certified B Corporation, a Great Place to Work and an Energy UK member.

Our mission is to contribute to positive change, by amplifying the abilities of organisations to achieve their impact. We work with enterprise organisations in Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing, and have colleagues based across the UK, Europe, America and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth

- Drive revenue growth across new logo acquisition, and the retention and expansion of existing customer accounts

- Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities across target industries

- Own deals end-to-end, from initial discovery through proposal, commercial negotiation, and closure, converting opportunities independently within a broad framework

- Sell the full range of how we engage, from traditional delivery through to subscription and outcome-based commercial models built on our own product and IP

- Work with Salesforce account teams on joint go-to-market (co-sell) motions, aligning Inardua to client priorities

Strategic Relationships

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at our customers, based on credibility, empathy, and value

- Build strong working relationships across the teams at Salesforce we work most closely with, acting as a trusted point of contact

- Lead structured discovery sessions that identify the outcomes a client is looking to achieve, and where AI and technology can shift them

- Create and deliver account plans that drive growth and strategic alignment

Salesforce & Delivery Alignment

- Apply a working knowledge of Salesforce products and delivery approaches to help customers and Salesforce AEs translate Salesforce products into real customer value

- Partner closely with Inardua delivery leads to ensure successful project execution

- Uncover expansion opportunities across Salesforce products (NZC, Tableau, MC, Data Cloud, Slack, MuleSoft)

- Represent Inardua at Salesforce ecosystem events, industry forums, and executive roundtables

Market & Strategy Contribution

- Share industry and regional insights with the Commercial and Marketing teams to inform GTM strategy, positioning, and messaging

- Contribute to the development of best practice in sales process, pricing, and value articulation

What We're Looking For

- A background at a Salesforce Consulting Practice, or at Salesforce itself

- A working knowledge of Salesforce products, delivery approaches, and how to engage customers and Salesforce AEs on translating Salesforce investment into real customer value

- Proven experience in B2B consulting or technology sales, ideally in the Salesforce ecosystem, managing complex sales cycles with enterprise and commercial clients

- Experience selling recurring or outcome-based commercial models, not only time-and-materials or fixed-scope delivery, is a strong advantage

- A track record of building strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, both at customers and within a partner ecosystem such as Salesforce

- A self-starter mindset, with the ability to own, manage, and convert opportunities independently within a broad framework

- Familiarity with Energy, Utilities or Manufacturing

- Confident leading discovery, proposal development, and senior stakeholder management

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity

- Accountable and comfortable exercising independent judgement, while valuing collaborative growth and collective wins

Success in This Role Looks Like

- Meeting or exceeding revenue targets across new logo acquisition, retention and expansion, with a growing proportion coming from recurring and outcome-based commercial models

- Building and progressing a balanced pipeline across target sectors and regions

- Establishing strategic relationships with senior stakeholders that lead to expansion beyond the initial engagement

- Strong, trusted working relationships across the Salesforce teams closest to our business

- Actively shaping Inardua's market positioning through insights and client engagement

As well as everything you'd expect (competitive salary, paid-for training & certs, unlimited opportunity for progression & development) here are some of the other things we provide:

- 38 days annual leave, including bank holidays

- Fully remote working (although you should be available to travel, particularly to London & Stroud HQ)
