Position Summary:

As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering leadership team to support the delivery of whole system functionality. You will coordinate activities across stakeholders to define, manage and meet interdependencies between systems, subsystems and components that meet requirements.  You will build engineering and architecture models to conduct technical assessments and recommendations that inform key technical decisions.

What you will be doing:

Here you’ll have the opportunity to work on the following:

- Optimize the functional and physical interfaces within a prototype demonstrator module and with the customer platform

- Apply systems engineering and robust design tools and techniques to resolve technical problems
- Design and integration of products, systems, and components
- Develop math models of functional systems, and ensure system-level design functionality within the project design process
- Define and verify requirements for products, systems, and components
- Lead, coordinate, and influence interdisciplinary subsystem teams to solve complex problems, manage requirements, manage interfaces, and deliver system solutions.
- Support or lead risk assessments, design reviews, safety reviews, regulatory reviews, and technical audits from a functional aspect.
- Participate in the system verification strategy development, validation & verification test planning, and test execution activities
- Planning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations.

Who we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience OR
- Master’s degree in Engineering OR
- JD/PhD in Engineering
- Systems Engineering / Systems Integration experience
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred:

- Experience with Systems Engineering and Systems Integration concepts
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, including the tools and methods used
- Familiar with INCOSE, and knowledge of industry standard tools and methods for systems engineering
- Experience with delivering systems in a fast-paced environment, from initial requirements and concepts to final hardware delivery
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated technical project planning and management experience and ability to lead a multifunctional engineering team
- Experience interfacing with customers on technical program issues
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong customer focus
- Gas turbine engine installation, verification, and performance experience

Pay Range

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.

$98,566 - $160,169-Annually
