About this role
Costain are working with United Utilities MSP (UU) on a multi-year framework agreement to provide overall management and execution of the larger-scale on-site asset maintenance activities across the Northwest region, including the provision and management of supplementary engineering services to manage and deliver diverse works.
The Project Engineer will lead on the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance projects across the UU region and develop key relationships with UU operational personnel, supply chain partners and promote a team spirit environment. The role will require experience of both design and delivery of water projects with the successful individual likely responsible for the concurrent delivery of a portfolio of small capital maintenance projects.
The role does offer dynamic / hybrid working. A "normal" week might consist of 1 or 2 days from the office, 1 or 2 days from site, and 1 or 2 days working from home. Candidates will need to be flexible around the demands of their individual projects and local client stakeholders .

Essentials
- Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering and relevant professional experience
- SMSTS qualification or IOSH Managing Safely
- Relevant CSCS card
- Driving licence
